Birmingham
City Council
In January 2005, Birmingham City
Council completed a major 3-year project to improve
their Housing Management Systems. The project
involved replacing an in-house mainframe system
with Sx3Housing, improving services to the City’s
80,000 tenants and leaseholders. The project was
implemented as a ‘single delivery’,
with all the main areas going ‘live’
at the same time. Led by David Hart, Birmingham’s
project was probably the UK’s largest and
most complex Housing IT implementation. |
| |
"David
Hart provided the project management and leadership
skills that enabled us to implement our Sx3Housing
system on time and within budget."
Nigel Christie, General Manager, Birmingham City
Housing Department. |
Home
Group Limited
In March 2005, Edroy and Hart
were asked to assist Home Group limited, following
the departure of their in-house Project Manager
just 8 months before the planned implementation
date for their new Housing and Financial systems.
Edroy and Hart provided project management, project
office and project support services to Home Group,
working with their staff to successfully implement
the IBS OpenHousing and OpenAccounts systems across
Home Housing Association, Warden Housing and the
Group Centre. |
| |
"The
project has been a great success - we went 'live'
with our Housing and Finance systems on time
and our staff are very pleased with the new way
of working. We were impressed with the project
management and support provided by Edroy and Hart. They are
a very 'hands-on' consultancy, really getting involved
with us, and they provided the experience and
expertise we needed to ensure a successful implementation."
Alison Hadden, Director of Housing Operations, Home
Group Limited. |
Shepway
District Council
Shepway District Council have
designed and implemented a standard approach to
managing projects across the organisation. Jane
Royden worked with Shepway to develop a tailored
method, which was both pragmatic and based on
best practice. |
| |
"Jane
Royden helped us to design a practical set of tools
and templates, and delivered interactive workshops
focusing on the essentials for successful projects.
Our staff found the workshops really useful and
were encouraged and reassured by Jane's supportive
and clear approach."
Wendy Head, Strategic HR Manager, Shepway District
Council. |
